The "Vision Pro Headset" by Apple has arrived in the market. How does it work, Which Price Near About 5 Lakhs?

Apple always brings some special and revolutionary content to the market, and people have always trusted them. However, since 2015, Apple has not been able to introduce such groundbreaking products or content to the market, which has led to people's anticipation. Every time a similar content is made public, some companies tend to focus more on production and services, while others believe that it should be less focused.

However, starting from Monday, at the Worldwide Developer Conference (WWDC) 2023, the company has made such a product public, which has received praise from people worldwide. That is the 'Vision Pro Headset'.

Recently, various companies are actively involved in the production of AR/VR headsets. Recently, Facebook's subsidiary company Meta also made the 'Quest 2' headset public. However, there hasn't been much discussion about that headset in the market.

Now, Apple has analyzed the publicly released headset in various ways. Today, we will provide information about what features are present in the 'Vision Pro' headset, which has sparked discussions about the device's potential.

Based on augmented/virtual reality, Apple's first headset is said to include a new computer as well. Currently, only the headset announcement has been made. Therefore, no one has been able to try or test the headset in the program's sequence.

Whatever the company claims, there is currently a need to have faith in it. 'Vision Pro' is such a headset device that is powered by Apple's powerful M2 chip. It includes two OLED displays for each eye. These displays provide a better experience than the resolution mentioned by the company.

The speakers are attached to the temples of both ears. The R1 chip in it collects data from various sensors in real-time and can manage the device accordingly.

How does Vision Pro work?

There has been a lot of discussion about AR/VR headsets like this. Some companies have already introduced AR/VR headsets in the market. Typically, an AR/VR headset has an integrated screen inside and is covered from the outside.

In addition to that, it also has various sensors attached. These sensors capture the surrounding data and display it on the screen for you to see.

This headset, made from glass, metal, and fabric, is designed by the company to provide comfort to the users. Its most attractive feature is that it allows you to track your eye movement. By tracking your eye movement with the headset's sensors, it displays what you see in front of your eyes on the screen. This eliminates the need to turn your head to see different locations. This feature is highlighted by the analysts as an appealing aspect. Not only can you see on the screen where you're looking, but the device also selects the same option. The company mentions that you can scroll or slide using your eye movements. The device doesn't require head movement to operate.

The analyst has also analyzed these features as attractive ones. Not only can you see on the screen where you're looking, but the device's sensors select the same option. Similarly, if you want to select something on the screen, you can simply use eye movement to control the cursor.

The device also has an optical ID feature. Through this feature, the device analyzes the user's retinal data and unlocks the device. For security purposes, the company also includes a fingerprint sensor.

In Apple's Vision Pro headset, there are no physical controllers. This means there are no buttons to control the device. According to the company, it can be fully controlled by eye movements, voice, and hand gestures.

When you wear the headset, all the sensors become active. This headset has two main camera sensors on the front, two cameras on the bottom part of the headset, two AR illuminators, and two side camera sensors.

Similarly, there is a LiDAR scanner on the upper part just above the nose, and two "True Depth" camera sensors on each side. You can explore what's happening around you through these sensors in one place. Moreover, you can control and use them in your own way by moving your fingers in front of the sensor.

Inside the device, there are also four types of infrared cameras and two LED illuminator sensors. These camera and illuminator sensors track the user's eyes. The company has mentioned that the headset can be customized according to the user's needs.

This device can be used as a virtual computer as well as a pair of glasses. When wearing the headset, the user can see through the lenses, and others can see external objects through the lenses. However, the eyes seen on the screen are not the user's actual eyes but only on the OLED screen.

If a person wearing the headset is watching a video, the person outside cannot see what the user is watching. At that time, the company refers to the graphics of the video being seen in the eye part of the person outside.

For this device, the company has provided its own operating system (OS) and UI system. The company has named this operating system "VisionOS." This OS is similar to the full-fledged iPad OS.

According to the company, there will be a separate app store for this. This means that all the apps available in the app store can be used with the headset. However, developers need to design the apps accordingly. Therefore, initially, only Apple's apps are expected to be available on the device. This device can also be used as a portable computer. It can create a small display in front of the user's eyes, where they can open their desired apps or browser.

The company also claims that the headset can be connected to a Mac, allowing the user to see everything on the Mac screen through the headset.

Furthermore, Bluetooth keyboards and Bluetooth trackpads can be connected to the headset, allowing the user to control the Mac as well. In this way, users can experience working on a large Mac screen in front of them.

One attractive feature of this device is FaceTime. This means that after wearing the headset, users can video chat with various individuals. Experts have mentioned that by video chatting in this way, users can have an experience of being in front of the individuals they are chatting with.

For this, you don't need to keep your phone or Mac in front of you. The headset's sensors create a 3D model of you and track your movements, displaying them as if they were real on the screen. The avatar seen in this way appears as if it were real.

Augmented reality (AR) technology alone is not enough to view content (videos) on this headset. The news has come out that the company has collaborated with streaming platforms like Netflix and Disney for this. Similarly, future AR/VR games can also be viewed or played with this headset.

Through the camera on this device, it is said that you can capture 3D photos or videos. Such videos give the illusion of actually being present when viewed through the headset.

By tracking the movements of the eyes and hands, this headset's feature is considered one of the most attractive features. However, the absence of "haptic feedback" is a drawback. This means that the physical experience of using the device is not possible. It cannot fully satisfy those who are fascinated by the virtual world.

It is said that this device can be used for about two hours on a single full charge. Analysts have discussed this as a weak point because even watching a movie takes more than two hours. Charging the device while using it can be troublesome for users.
